Virtual A&S Post

In the past little while I have done a few things. Including binding a ledger-style book (japanese: 大福書 read: Daifuku Cho). I intend to use the ledger-style book as an in persona travel log. (as they were sometimes used in the Edo period 1604-1868).

I also got to use my karibari to back a cover board for my next bookbinding project. You can even see some paste glue residue on my karibari (3rd picture)

4th and 5th pictures are my attempt at showing the work that I am doing on the entries for the travel log. Classical Japanese is pretty crazy compared to Modern Japanese, but I am muddling my way through.
