Virtual A&S Post

I actually have a few things which are items to show.

1. I have been working on a Hyoutan (bottle gourd) water bottle for when events start up again. This one is sealed with a food grade epoxy.

2. Runa made me an ebōshi a while ago. I used some of the same epoxy used to seal the Hyoutan to act like the lacquer which would be used to make ebōshi rigid.

3. I braided an ebōshi himo. A cord (himo) used to tie an ebōshi to your head. This one is a 16 strand flat braid similar to a type of braid called kanmuriuchi refers to the more formal type of formal headwear, the kanmuri.

4. Block printing mon on a garment. For a bit of flair.

5. Not yet ready for sending out. As much of my A&S endeavours are related to historical Japanese martial arts. I am working on ways to share those explorations with you all as well.
