It has been a while since I have had anything really to show for my arts and sciences endeavours. This month however, in addition to my study of the Japanese language, I have been endeavouring to step up my garb a bit.

1. Red hitatare

2. Fabric cut for two more hitatare (also silk)

3. Test braid for the sleeve cord for the hitatare on the Marudai

4. Finished Test braid

There are four strands of silk thread on each of the bobbins (tama) for a braid which finished at half an inch wide (which is what I was looking for)
